What is Zinc-220?
Zinc is a naturally occurring mineral. Zinc is important for growth and for the development and health of body tissues.
Zinc-220 is used to treat and to prevent zinc deficiency.
Zinc-220 may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Before taking this medicine
Before using Zinc-220, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or other healthcare provider. You may not be able to use this medicine if you have certain medical conditions.
FDA pregnancy category C. It is not known whether Zinc-220 will harm an unborn baby. Do not use Zinc-220 without a doctor's advice if you are pregnant.
It is not known whether zinc sulfate passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are breast-feeding a baby.
How should I take Zinc-220?
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
Take Zinc-220 with a full glass of water.
Take Zinc-220 with food if it upsets your stomach.
Your healthcare provider may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best result. The recommended dietary allowance of zinc sulfate changes with age. Follow your healthcare provider's instructions.
