What is lorazepam?
Lorazepam is a benzodiazepine (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peen) It is thought that benzodiazepines work by enhancing the activity of certain neurotransmitters in the brain.
Lorazepam is used to treat anxiety disorders.
